Back in February, I put a call out on LinkedIn for some digital marketing support.

My cry for help on LinkedIn!

We had some big ideas around how we can raise our profile online- which included making better use of our Google Ads Grant, and developing our social media advice offer.

With very limited comms and marketing resource, we needed help!

Within a few hours, I was introduced to Levi and Matthew at Curtis Gabriel, a social, digital and design agency based in Newcastle, and we set up a meeting online.

From the start I was impressed by the research the team had already done to understand how our organisation works, the services we offer, and our existing online presence.

Together, we identified 3 key goals to focus on- an increase in visits to our website, increased brand awareness and increased social media engagement. After discussing our budget and different options, we decided that their Ads Management package and 24/7 Facebook Messenger response service would be the best solution for our needs.

We agreed to trial the service for an initial 3 month period.

We were assigned an account manager who kept in regular contact from the start, and provided a monthly report showing how our ads are performing across our different locations. We worked closely with them to share branding, content, key messages and to identify campaign priorities each month.

We’re now 4 months into our partnership with Curtis Gabriel, and we’ve been really happy with the impact made so far (hence our extending the contract!)

Increase in social media impressions & website page views between April &June

Our social media content is now being seen nearly 100,000 times a month, that’s nearly as much as our posts were seen in the whole of 2020!

We’ve seen a huge increase in visits to our website month on month, with 7,100 page views in June.

The 24/7 Facebook messenger service ensures that anyone who contacts us now receives a prompt and personal response when they need it, day and night. This service has allowed us to escalate urgent issues to our advisers and signpost people to crisis services such as Samaritans where needed.

Each month we receive a detailed report showing where every pound and penny was spent with a comprehensive breakdown of impressions, engagements, link clicks, conversion tracking and leads, as well as recommendations for the following month.

Overall, this has been a really positive partnership for us- allowing us to access specialist skills and support in a flexible way.
